Practice Days: Oct 29th and Nov 5th - 8am to 5pm
Free Intro/Orientations every Saturday 9am to 11am
(required for those intending to take the class)
Tuition: $580.00 includes materials, Practice Day and workshop on L2B with Trish Broderick PhD.

This is an open class for the Harlem community and beyond. Beginners and practicing meditators are welcome. No registration necessary. Sitting, walking, body-scan, mindful movement and mindful dialog are practiced.

The Drop and Sit class can be attended in lieu of an orientation class. All MBSR participants must attend this class or another orientation class offered by an MBSR teacher.



Jayne Gumpel LCSW trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center's Oasis training program. Jayne is co founder of MindfulHarlem.org, a non profit 501c3 organization formed to bring meditation and mindfulness practices to all people especially those not typically reached and regardless of their ability to pay.

Jayne is in private psychotherapy practice in Midtown East with a focus on body-mind healing modalities. She works with couples, individuals and groups. She is a certified mindful schools .b teacher with MiSP. Jayne is a founding partner at QuantumLead.com, a consulting firm that brings mindfulness practices into the corporate setting via peer forums and 1:1 coaching for conscious leadership development.
