Upayadhi (Savanna Jo) Luraschi discovered meditation in 2004, living in London and coming across the London Buddhist Center in Bethnal Green. She immediately started sitting meditation retreats several times a year. Her explorations have since brought her to study with a variety of teachers in several centers in Europe and the US. Upayadhi is particularly interested in practicing in the workplace and in mitigating the cost of stress and burn out to organizations and their employees. She herself has more than 20 years of corporate experience in four different countries (USA/UK/France/India), both in the Luxury and Consumer Electronics industries. More recently, Upayadhi has been training as a coach, and is also pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary, with a concentration in Buddhist studies. Since 2004 Upayadhi has been an active member of the Triratna Buddhist Community, her primary community and context for deepening her practice. She was ordained in 2018.
